3-Day Masai Mara Jungle Horseback Adventure

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and begin your scenic journey towards the Masai Mara National Reserve. Travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, with beautiful countryside and panoramic landscapes along the way.

Arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp around lunchtime, check in and enjoy lunch before having some time to relax.

Later in the afternoon, head out on your first Masai Mara game drive. Explore the open savannah in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and numerous other wildlife species.

Return to your lodge or tented camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, venture into the Masai Mara for a morning game drive. The morning hours provide excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities as animals become active across the plains. Depending on the season, you may also have the chance to encounter wildlife associated with the famous Great Migration.

Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest before beginning one of the highlights of the safari – a guided horseback riding adventure.

Ride through the beautiful savannah accompanied by experienced guides and experience the African wilderness from an exciting new perspective. Horseback riding offers a more intimate connection with the surrounding landscape and creates a memorable addition to the traditional vehicle safari.

After the ride, return to your accommodation for relaxation. An optional visit to a local Maasai village may also be arranged for travellers interested in learning about Maasai culture and traditions.

Start your final day with an early morning game drive through the Masai Mara. Enjoy one last opportunity to photograph the landscapes and search for wildlife before returning to your lodge or camp for breakfast.

After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey to Nairobi. Enjoy lunch along the way before continuing through the Kenyan countryside.
