5 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Lake Naivasha Safari

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, meet your safari guide and begin the approximately 5–6 hour journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

Arrive at your lodge or safari camp, check in and enjoy lunch followed by some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive across the Mara plains. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos and numerous plains game species.

Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring the Masai Mara on an extensive game drive. The reserve is famous for its exceptional concentration of wildlife and spectacular open savannah landscapes.

Visit the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles can often be seen. During the Great Migration season, you may also have the opportunity to witness the dramatic movement of wildebeest and other herbivores through the ecosystem.

Enjoy lunch during the day and continue searching for wildlife before returning to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy an early breakfast before checking out and departing the Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, approximately 5–6 hours away.

Upon arrival, check into your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore this scenic national park, well known for its rhino population, diverse birdlife, giraffes, lions and other wildlife.

After the game drive, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and drive approximately two hours to Lake Naivasha, one of the beautiful freshwater lakes of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.

Check into your lodge or camp, have lunch and enjoy some time at leisure. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat ride across Lake Naivasha. Look out for pods of hippos and an impressive variety of birds, including the iconic African fish eagle.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park for a final adventure in the Great Rift Valley. Explore the park’s dramatic landscapes and enjoy available activities such as cycling, sightseeing and discovering its impressive geological formations.

After the excursion, return for lunch before checking out and beginning the approximately 2–3 hour drive back to Nairobi.

Depending on your departure schedule, there may be time for shopping or sightseeing in Nairobi before your transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your Kenya safari.
