7 Days Pearl of Africa Safari

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where your safari guide will welcome you and assist with your transfer. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore Entebbe or optionally visit attractions such as the Botanical Gardens or Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

Drive towards Jinja, passing sugarcane plantations and Mabira Forest along the way. Optional rafting on the Nile can be arranged. Later, take a boat trip to the Source of the Nile and explore Jinja, one of Uganda's best-known adventure destinations.

Travel towards Kapchorwa and the Mount Elgon region for a guided nature walk around Sipi Falls, a beautiful series of three waterfalls. In the afternoon, visit a local community and learn about coffee cultivation, harvesting and traditional processing methods.

Set out on the journey north to remote Kidepo Valley National Park. The park is home to abundant wildlife and hundreds of bird species within dramatic savannah scenery. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a short introductory game drive.

Spend the day exploring Kidepo with a ranger guide. Search the open plains for buffaloes, lions, ostriches and other wildlife while travelling towards Kanangorok Hot Springs. Take a short walk around the springs and enjoy excellent photographic opportunities.

Take a guided nature walk, with routes available according to fitness and preference. In the afternoon, visit a Karimojong community outside the park to learn about traditional lifestyles, beadwork, cuisine, folklore and beliefs.

Depart Kidepo early for the full-day drive back to Entebbe or your next destination in Uganda. Drop-off can be arranged at Entebbe International Airport or another agreed location.
