Mombasa- Saltlick
After an early morning breakfast, you will be picked at Hotel (south or North Coast) and our driver/guide will drive you through the Mombasa - Nairobi Road to Taita Hills Saltlick Game Sanctuary - a privately owned conservation area located at the foot of the Taita Hills adjacent to Tsavo West National Park in Kenya. Taita Hills Saltlick offers many diverse opportunities for guests to experience the unique flora, fauna and culture of this fascinating ecosystem. You will check-in Sarova Saltlick Game Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Sarova Saltlick Game Lodge.
Saltlick - Tsavo West
After an early morning breakfast we depart Saltlick Game Lodge and drive to the legendary land of the "Man-Eaters" - Tsavo National Park. This wilderness is home too over 1000 plant species, 400 bird species and more than 60 major mammal species such as lions, huge herds of buffalo, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino and at least 7000 elephants. The park is the location of Africa's most famous adventure story "Man eaters of Tsavo", in which two lions where responsible for eating over 500 workers who where building the Uganda railway also known as the "Lunatic Line " by it's opponents in the British Parliament in 1898. The story was made famous in the 1996 movie "The Ghost and the Darkness." Lunch at a Tsavo West safari lodeg/Camp. Afternoon game drive to the Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight in a Tsavo West safari Lodge/Camp.
Tsavo East
Soon after breakfast with game en-route drive to Mzima Springs through the vast Tsavo National Park we will depart Tsavo West for our today's major game drive at Tsavo East. Lunch at Voi Safari Lodge. After few hours relaxation you will enjoy a late afternoon game drive before you retire for day at Voi Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
