Day 1 : Tongabezi Lodge
Guests will arrive at the lodge in either their own vehicle or in transport arranged prior. After check in and settling into their idyllic thatched chalet, guests can then go about experiencing all that the lodge has to offer. If peckish, guests can enjoy lunch in a number of locations around the lodge, including the Lookout - the ideal vantage point to view Zambezi River and its amphibian inhabitants pass by. The afternoon is then free to enjoy activities such as village tours, shopping outings, angling and of course, an excursion to the Victoria Falls. Spa treatments can also be enjoyed at an additional cost. Come sunset, guests can enjoy either a sunset boat cruise or game drive, both with a well-earned drink in hand. If they opt for a game drive, it will last well into the evening. The evening brings with it a stillness that is disturbed only by stories of the day shared over a Tongabezi dinner - the pride of the lodge. Guests can then enjoy a nightcap and a sound night's sleep.
Day 2: Departure
Day 2 unfortunately brings with it the time to depart, but not before a thrilling sunrise boat trip. Guests can watch the sun rise over the Zambezi River before returning to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Depending on the time, guests can enjoy more of the lodge and its activities before packing up and checking out at 11:00 sharp. If travelling by air, a transfer to the nearby airport can be arranged.
