The Omo Valley is undoubtedly one of the most unique places on earth because of the wide variety of cultural people and animals that inhabit it. It is located in Africa's Great Rift Valley in Southern Ethiopia just North of Lake Turkana. The region is known for its culture and diversity.
The tribes that live in the lower Omo Valley are believed to be among the most fascinating on the continent of Africa and around the world. Cultural & photographic tours are offered to several towns and villages. It is often you come into contact with the following tribes and their Cultural events: Arbore, Ari, Bena, Bodi, Bumi, Daasanech, Dorze, Hamer, Karo, Konso, Kwegu, Mursi, Tsemay, and Turkana when you tour the valley.

Day 1 : Nairobi-Marsabit
We depart Nairobi early morning and drive North to Marsabit, on the way sighting some of the most scenic parts of Kenya. We arrive at our accommodation on the edge of Marsabit National park in the evening for an overnight.

Day 2: Marsabit-Yabello
Early morning departure after breakfast through Dida Galgallo Desert and eventually arriving at the Moyale Border town for customs and immigration process before we can cross into Ethiopia. We drive a further 200km to the town of Yabello where we will put up for the night

Day 3 & 4: Yabello-Turmi
The next 3 days will be spent with the local communities in the Omo Valley, starting with Turmi where we will meet and interact with the first tribes and have an opportunity to take photos as well. After exploring the area and enjoying our local interaction we will spend 2 nights in Turmi.

Day 5: Turmi-Jinka
After breakfast we depart for Jinka where we will meet more tribes at the market and nearby villages along the route. We have an opportunity to meet more tribes here and take photos as well as learn about their cultural events and way of life.

Day 6: Jinka-Moyale, Ethiopia
After breakfast we drive back to the Border and spend the last night in Ethiopia at Moyale side.

Day 7: Moyale-Nanyuki
This morning we check out of Ethiopia and drive backwards to Nanyuki for a transit night on our way back home. If time allows we have an opportunity on the way to visit Ngare Ndare forest canopy walk etc.

Day 8: Nanyuki-Nairobi
After breakfast we have the final drive back to Nairobi, bringing back nice memories of a lifetime from the trip.
