The countryside in the Luangwa Valley is truly spectacular. The vegetation is thick and a lush riverine forest occurs, which is green all year round. The concentration of animals around the Luangwa River is among the most intense in Africa.
Day 1 : South Luangwa Valley
After arrival at the Lilongwe International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by taste of Malawi representative. After greetings, we will drive off to South Luangwa national park with lunch and picnic. You will have the real Africa wildlife experience in Luangwa valley. Overnight in eco friendly tented safari camp in south Luangwa national Park located on the banks of the Luangwa river overlooking the busy wildlife crossing point making the whole tour more exciting.
Day 2 & 3: Game drive and swimming in a pool
A good morning with a pre game drive breakfast, followed by an early morning game drive, with one of our experienced guides. Enjoy the sites of the national park before returning to the camp for the well needed lunch. Then take a refreshing swim in the pool before entering the park for the late afternoon/night game drive. This is a unique way ti view the nocturnal activity of the park. Dinner will be served at kiboko tented camp.
Day 4: Visit a tribal textile workshop
All good things must come to an end. After breakfast you be transferred to Lilongwe international airport with a stop in route at a tribal textile workshop for about 30 minutes. We hope you take good memories and looking forward to welcome you again for another safari.
